Recent updates from Simon Scraps E-Waste Recycling.
February 2026
Second trip to Aurum Recovery! We took 600 pounds of e-waste to Aurum and another 600 pounds of steel to Radius Recycling.
We also launched the updated website and online pickup request form at https://ewastesimon.com/ .
And last but not least, I presented my business plan to Portland community leaders at Baxter Ventures, a Shark Tank-like competition and I won top prize in the Process Session.

Computer pickup at Riverside Recycling in Portland, Maine. Pretty good haul!
Storage system upgrade. We now have a sorting system for graded circuit boards and other components, and a lot more room in the workshop.

First trip to Aurum Recovery! We weren’t sure how it would go, but everything went smoothly and we came away with a nice check. This business is officially off the ground! Thanks to the City of South Portland for providing much of this e-waste.
